We are bittersweet. Closing the storefront to make more time for the kids. August is coming and I have made the commitment to homeschooling my Mia right now so this is going to come first.

We are keeping our on-line store but closing the brick location.

Our Newest addition to the family

We welcomed Romy Grace Kosty to the family on Dec. 28, 09. She was born 3 weeks before her due date and was still 8 lbs. Not only are mom and dad happy to have her but her two big sisters are thrilled to have her, too.

Now that she is a month old we are starting to get into a routine and are in the process of getting CalamariBaby.com updated for 2010.

Let's start at the top

The Spout ~ Studies show the straw shaped spout is better for developing little mouths. There is a no leak silicone valve inside. When the kids suck the liquid comes out and when they don't, it won't.

The Lid ~ The lid is made a bit larger to protect the cup when dropped from denting. The inner sleeve is made from #5 plastic and is Bisphenol A (BPA) free.

The Waist ~ Helps little hands to hold the cup after the handles are removed

The Rubber Sleeve ~ The Thermoplastic Rubber (TPR) Sleeve acts as an insulator for cold liquid on hot days.

The nubby handles ~ help little slippery hands hold on better and they are removable.

The Body ~ Made of medical grade stainless steel "The Safe Sippy" body is the most important feature. The bottom line is stainless steel is safe and you can rest easy knowing that your children only get out what you put in!

In my opinion and my experience this is the best Sippy Cup on the market at the moment and they are only improving it as time goes on.

My youngest daughter never used a wide mouth flat type sippy and her pronunciation and speech has always been very good, bragging good. :)

Plus I have drank out of it when out and about with my girls and it tastes good and clean.

I am open to questions and happy to either take your order for The Safe Sippy @ $12.95 or you can pre-order the Safe Sippy Squared @ 14.95. I will be shipping them near the end of July. The Squared has a cover/ lid a softer spout and you can convert it with the straw attachment.

Photo's inside the Leucadia Shop

Well, the floor is done. We have yet to find our final rug but we have one for the time being.

We ripped out the old carpet and painted the floor, cement. We went with the dark blue, turquoise color and it looks really cool and it feels really cool.

We moved the register from back againt the wall to up near ther door.

Our regular customers really like the changes we have made and we do, too.
